Heute gibt es nicht viel zu zeigen aber ich habe vorhin noch schnell das nächste Motiv gestickt.
Die Vorlage dafür kommt dann später auch noch nach.
Es ist diesmal noch etwas kleiner als die anderen.



Ich wollte gerne noch ein paar Worte zu den Kommentaren von Inge und Geri für den letzten Eintrag hier schreiben, weil ich nicht weiß ob ihr bei den Kommentaren nochmal reinschaut, wenn ich dort antworte.

Inge, mir liegt diese Art von Stickerei eigentlich auch nicht so, zumindest dachte ich das.
Und ich würde es auch ganz sicher nicht machen, müßte ich es nach einer Vorlage arbeiten, sei es vorgedruckt auf den Stoff oder wie auch immer.
Der Stielstich macht mir auch die größten Probleme, das siehst du ganz deutlich wenn du dir die Stengel der Blumen unten anschaust und die oberen Blätter aber ich versuche es so gut es geht und insgesamt fällt es dann auch nicht mehr so auf.
Da ich sowieso Herr der Sache bin kann ich einfach die Art von Stichen machen, die mir gefallen und die mir auch gut gelingen.
Bei den ersten Blöcken, aus denen ich die beiden ersten Taschen genäht hatte, habe ich einige Reihen mit untergeheftetem Zählstoff gestickt, den ich dann ausgezogen habe aber das wurde erst recht nicht schön bei mir. Zwar sind die Abstände recht gleichmäßig aber man kann ganz schwer die Einstichstelle abschätzen, und wenn du dir vorstellst, du möchtest ein "V" machen und unten sind die beiden Schenkel dann nicht im selben Loch sondern haben einen kleinen Abstand, dann sieht das gar nicht gut aus :-(

Geri, wenn du es versuchen willst dann tu es doch einfach. Auch von anderen höre ich oft, es gefällt ihnen aber sie könnten das nicht oder wagen sich nicht daran.
Ich selbst bin ja ein Anfänger und kann auch noch nicht viel aber ich versuche es. Was verliert man schon außer einem Fetzen Stoff, der in dem Falle des letzten Beitrages wieder von dem berühmten Hemd war, aus dem schon drei Taschen wurden, und einem bisschen Garn ;-))))
Man kann hier einfach alles verarbeiten, was schon jahrelang im Nähkästchen schlummert, wie Knöpfe, kleine Schnipsel von Spitzen, Perlen usw.

I have not much to share for today.
I stitched the center for the next CQ block and will post the pattern for this tomorrow.
It's a really tiny one, smaller than the others before.

I want to say some words to Inge and Geri because I don't know if you will read my answer in the comments section.
Inge said she always had trouble with doing those stitches and they often look messy.
Well, for sure I would not stitch in this way if I had to follow a pattern or a print on the fabric, for a table cloth for example.
The stem stitch I used for the flower stems in my last post is very difficult for me too. It never comes out very well when I do this, but I try my best and you don't see that it's messy because you look at the complete work.
Since I don't have to follow a pattern I try to choose stiches which I like and I succeed in doing.
For my very first blocks I made a try with using waste canvas for getting perfect spaces, but I had trouble to stitch into the fabric at the correct places, if two stitches had to go in and out at the same hole. It doesn't look very well if the ends of two stitches should lie together but they don't.


Geri, if you would like to try so just do it!
You know I am a beginner too and I try, so why should not you do the same?!!
What more can you loose than some little rags of fabric and some thread? I used one of the rags I have left over from the shirt which I already used for two handbags and a cellphone pouch ;-)
And you can use up everything you find in your sewing box like lace, buttons, beads...

Huhhhh... to write this translations is very difficult for me because my English is very limited.
