Drei Blumen
Diese kleine Stickerei entstand nach einer Grundidee von Pamela Kellogg.
Eine Übung um seine eigenen künstlerischen Talente zu entdecken.
Nun ist es zwar nichts neues für mich mir eigene Stickbilder auszudenken, aber mit dieser Art von Stickerei ist es das doch.
Es macht mir im Moment viel Spaß aus den begrenzten Möglichkeiten des Kreuzstich auszubrechen und einfach völlig frei etwas zu schaffen, das direkt beim Sticken entsteht und nicht einer Vorlage folgt, wie es der Kreuzstich tut.
Zum Kreuzstich kam ich über das Entwerfen von eigenen Vorlagen, somit war nie das Sticken meine liebste Beschäftigung sondern das Verwirklichen von eigenen Ideen.
Ich habe bisher nur ganz wenige Muster anderer Designer gestickt, und auch bei meinen eigenen Mustern merke ich, dass ich beim Kreuzstich immer vorwärts hetze.
Bei dieser freien Art der Stickerei ist das völlig anders. Ich sticke es mit Genuß, muß überlegen wie es weiter gehen soll, tue ein paar Stiche und schau mir immer wieder an wie es wirkt.
Es entsteht ganz langsam ein Bild direkt auf dem Stoff, von dem ich vorher nicht genau weiß wie es sein wird. Ich kann neue Ideen spontan hinzufügen, alles ist möglich und erlaubt.
Auch wenn bei mir bei weitem keine Kunstwerke entstehen, es macht einfach Spaß.
Nun bin ich gespannt, was Pam mit ihrem Blumen-Kreis vor hat, damit ich weiß was ich mit meinem tun soll ;-)

My English is terrible too, but I want to say a few words which make a little bit more sense than the result of the translation tool.
Taking up Pamela Kellogg's idea of "three flowers in a circle" I came up with what you see.
Although it's not new to me, to design my own stitching, it's new to do it in this free style.
In the moment I enjoy to break out of the limited possibilities of cross-stitch and discover new creative ideas.
I designed cross-stitch patterns before I ever stitched one, so actually it was my intention to be creative and not to follow a pattern from a piece of paper.
While doing cross-stitch I always notice that I hurry to finish the project, but in my spare experiences whith this free form of stitching I found that I work really slow and with pleasure.
I have to think how I will go on, doing a few stitches and looking again on my work to see how it comes out.
A picture develops on the fabric and I don't know how it will look like in the end. I can add new ideas, everything is allowed and possible.
I just start to discover the possibilities and I never would call it artistic what I am doing but it's a lot of fun to me.
